Directions to Fulpmes in the Stubaital
Arrival by Car
The Hotel Donnerhof is situated only approximately 18 km or 15 minutes by car from Innsbruck, in the heart of the Stubaital valley.
Drive along the A12 Inntalautobahn motorway and turn off towards the Brenner Pass A13 motorway at the motorway junction Innsbruck. From this junction the exit to the Stubaital valley is only 8km drive along the A13.

In Austria, it is necessary to buy a "Vignette" toll road sticker to allow use of Austrian motorways. The 10-day Vignette is available for purchase at all border-crossings, service stations, auto clubs, as well as "Trafik" tobacco shops.
Alternatively, the Stubaital can be reached on toll-free rural roads. The road is accessed via the Innsbruck Süd junction. This route leads up a road with many turns and bends and is sure to take a little more time, but no tolls apply.
Arrival by Train
- travel comfortably on the EC or ICE express trains to Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof main station
- We can arrange a taxi service to pick you up from the train station. Families incl. ski equipment and luggage will be picked up in larger vehicles. Rates available upon request. Driving time to the **** Hotel Donnerhof: approx. 20 minutes.
- The Stubaitalbahn train takes the scenic route through the romantic countryside outside of Innsbruck and stops directly in Fulpmes. We can arrange a free pickup service from the train station in Fulpmes to our hotel if we are informed in advance.
- The Stubaitalbus is a bus services leaving at the Innsbruck train station taking you to the bus stop in Fulpmes. From there, we can arrange a pickup service from the bus stop, which is only approximately 50 m from our hotel.
